Come for a few minutes or a couple hours for a fun evening of dancing and socializing with other sangha members. Whether you like Big Band, Rock & Roll, Blues or R&B, Swing is always in! Don’t know how to dance? Not a problem! Christa Quackenbush, owner of the Washington Dance Club, will offer a 45 minute lesson in the basics of East Coast Swing. Stay for a social hour with dance music. DJ Christa will be spinning some of her favorite dance tunes, from Big Band to Top 40’s. All levels of dancers are welcome, including non-dancers. Come solo or with a partner. Leather soled shoes are best but anything stable is fine.
Arrive anytime between 6 and 8 p.m. for tea and light snacks. Dance lesson at 6:15 p.m; social dancing to follow.
